Fairy nukes this team I’m pretty sure, and I think I’m going to have trouble with staraptor comps and trick room but this is the first team I’ve ever made from scratch in champions and I tried to not copy and paste anything. Also Arcanine has protect now instead of roar (I originally planned to use roar to push trick room setters off the field to try and give myself some momentum but I think protect is going to be much more useful) and I want to change hurricane on dragonite since it’s risky to use outside of rain but I can’t decide what to use. This is the first pokemon game I’ve played competitively (I’ve been a fan of vgc since SV release and have watched a lot of vgc YouTubers so I know the basics of competitive.) I’ve been running a Camerupt/vanilluxe hard TR team that I saw cybertron use in a video and easily made masterball with it last season but I want to try with a team I’ve mostly made myself . My game plan basically is when i have a favorable matchup in team preview I lead Malamar/Dragonite, skill swap contrary on to mega dragonite and spam Draco meteor. When it’s an unfavorable matchup for dragonite I usually lead whimsicott and mega Malamar unless I think they’re going to lead with a fairy mon then it’s usually whim and arcanine. I’m not trying to be the best in the world or anything and I understand it’s probably not a great or remotely optimal strategy or team but ive been having fun with it so far. If anyone has any advice on what I can do to improve the team without totally blowing it up or some constructive criticism I’d love to hear it.

TLDR I made this contrary skill swap Malamar/mega dragonite team, any advice on how to make the team a little better without totally changing everything would be appreciated

I need some team building advice
