Birthday party help!

Hello fellow moms. I’m looking for advice about my daughter’s 8th birthday party. For her last few parties we had access to a large event space for free (my mom managed an event center that was mainly used for concerts, we were incredibly lucky) This year my mom left the event center and our area doesn’t have much to offer in terms of party spaces so we rented out a large open room at a church/daycare where we had her 3rd and 4th birthday parties. Back then it was a donation based rental but now it’s $200 for 4 hours which is fine but we usually rent a huge bounce house so the kids have something fun to do. The cheapest in my area is now $230 and I really can’t justify spending $450 minimum (likely even more after taxes and fees) on just the space and a bounce house. So now I have no clue what to do to entertain these kids. Ages 1-8. I’m looking for semi low effort and things that don’t have to be parent led. Any advice is appreciated!
