I made a weekly album club for emo & screamo

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a project called Ratecore, and I thought r/emoscreamo would be a pretty fitting place to share it.

The concept is basically a weekly album club. Every week, one album is featured and everyone has the whole week to listen to it, rate it and discuss it with other people.

The site is focused on emo, screamo, post-hardcore, Midwest emo, metalcore, pop punk and related scenes. I wanted to make something that encourages actual discussion around albums rather than having them disappear in a Reddit feed after a few hours.

You can rate albums, leave comments, see rankings, check out other users' profiles and browse an archive of previous albums.

It's still a work in progress, so I'm really interested in hearing what people from the scene think about the idea — and especially which albums you'd want to see featured.

You can check it out here:

Thanks for taking a look! 🖤
