Can’t feel or look clean no matter what I do
Please no judgement. I’m 19F. I grew up with a single mom who’s been an addict my entire life. Very very neglected childhood. I’m talking my clothes wouldn’t get washed, my hair would never get brushed to the point it had to be cut, my teeth were never brushed. Also had some sexual trauma very young that contributed to long term bedwetting and accidents. My mom forced me out of school at 14 so I don’t really have any friends. Cps failed me to say the least but I moved in with my grandparents at 16. I have my GED and I’m starting school to be an EKG tech and then right after going to start school for cardiac sonography. I want to feel like I can move on and start fresh but no matter what I do I can’t achieve that clean girl look. I feel like you can just see that I had a rough childhood. My hairs always greasy no matter what I do. My face never looks fully clean no matter how clean it is. I brush and floss my teeth. Try to moisturize my skin. I just look rough. This has really been starting to kill me lately and idk what to try anymore. I just can’t escape that gross and dirty look. How can I start looking fresh? What can I do? My self esteem has been plummeting.
