Heating pads

I plan to get an African snail soon, but I'm unsure about heating pads. I live in a really hot country with temps ranging from 80F to 90F on a normal day. (Sometimes, it can be like 75F, but not often)

Would a heating pad be too much? Or should I still go ahead with one? If so, what recommendations do you guys have for heating pads?
