Missed Dose

Been taking this for over 5 years and probably close to 2 years on the 2mg highest dose.... Missed a darn dose and it will be 12 days tomorrow when I get it from the pharmacy..... A quick Google said I should maybe go back to .25 mg but I don't think that's necessary I hear from many people it's fine to resume.... Not looking for people's medical advice but thoughts based on your experiences..ty
