First week at nursery

My 13 month old has finished his first week in nursery. He's tearful at drop off and pick up but key worker says he settles well. When we come home after nursery I feel he completely kicks off. I know he probably wants to be held and exhausted from nursery. It's hard to get dinner sorted when he's pulling at my legs.

I know he's getting on well and it will take time to adjust. I wonder if anyone has any tips for a good home time routine?
