Guy hair cuts... What's going on?

Whatever

I got a hair cut today and simply noted a great social issue that's happening that's worth talking.

Guys hair cuts are usually short and cheap... we go to places like Supercuts or Sports clips, sit down, chat a bit and 15 minutes later we are done.

I have found most people who do this for a profession are used to chatting and Ive had a lot of great conversations over the many years.

Ive noticed a change in the past few years.

The people who clip our hair are always female... I dont think a male has ever cut my hair except when I went ito a true old school barber shop.

They are always young and up until a few years ago, probably millennial and every single one of them I have great conversations with...

Fast forward to today... now they are GenZ, they are all my kids age (<25 years old)... just like my hair cut today I have noticed that these kids CANNOT have a conversation... what-so-ever... its WEIRD.. its ODD.... they mumble a lot. This has happened at least half a dozen times now.

I dont get it, these people clip hair all day and they cant even maintain basic conversation. This has been going on for a few years now. I dont get it because I can relate to them since my kids are their age. Do I need to text them while they cut my hair to have a convo???

Is society LOST?
