THE LINDSAY CLANCY CASE.
Warning : These are my opinions and ultimately I am not the Judge, the Jury, or the Executioner.
Imagine your a husband coming home from cvs and getting some takeout. Your wife is home with your 3 kids. One age 5, one age 3, and one 8 months. You come home, and see your wife laying in the lawn. You ask her what happened. She says she tried to kill herself. Do you call 911? No. Instead you ask her “where are the kids?” She says in the basement. Do you rush down to the basement? No. Do you call 911? No. You calmly go inside, take your shoes off and then finally go to the basement where your 3 kids are found, dead.
Lindsay Clancy was accused of 3 counts of murder and 3 counts of strangulation in 2023. The weird part? She didn’t do it.
So heres what i know vs why this makes Patrick (her husband) look guiltier by the minute. He claims Lindsay “told him she tried to kill herself” Well when paramedics are finally called (It took him 11 minutes to call 911) Lindsays condition wouldn’t even allow her to speak. So.. how did she tell Patrick? Heres something else odd, Lindsays fingerprints were not found on the murder weapon. But Patricks were. “well Patrick is the one who untied the ropes from their necks” But if Lindsay killed them her prints would be on it. (Honorable mention, Patrick did NOT attempt ay forms of CPR. When the paramedics got there, he was just sitting there.) But what if Lindsay wore gloves? Is that why her prints are on the murder weapon? Well let’s use critical thinking… If Lindsays plan was to kill her kids and then herself, what would be the point of hiding the evidence? What good would gloves do? And Patrick claims that she wanted to harm the children then herself (which is odd because he also said he had no idea she wanted to harm the children) If thats not enough to convince you that somethings weird, we’re just getting started. Lindsay unfortunately had postpartum psychosis, and the horrible doctors in her life overloaded her with 15 meds in the course of 4 months. Meds that caused paranoia, insomnia, and suicidal thoughts. One doctor recalls telling the couple “Lindsay has BPD” and Patrick firmly disagreed. After this Patrick fires their nanny and refuses any help offered by family and friends. Lindsay is left alone to care for the children. But Patrick claims she told him she wanted to harm the children, so why did you leave her completely alone? (note: he also says he had no idea she wanted to harm them so… i guess) Here’s another thing, Lindsay is a nurse. Prosecution claims that Lindsay tried to end her life by crushing and ingesting sedative pills, slitting her wrists, then jumping out the window. But.. shes a nurse. She would have know the most efficient way to die. and why would she sedate herself? If thats not enough, let’s talk about what Patrick claims was happening that day. he says Lindsay was having a good day (he later changes this claim). He says he went to cvs to get meds for one of their children. it took him 15 minutes to get to cvs. (cvs is 3 minutes from their home.) he says he went and called Lindsay. says he didn’t answer, but later called back. says she was in the “middle of something” (yea right.) claims he couldn’t find the right medication (the right medication was purchased and on scene at their home) he also bought skittles (skittles are a known stimulant used for joggers and runners to keep their stamina up, and while the skittle purchase was found on the receipt, the skittles were gone) The importance of the skittles? there’s a wooded area behind cvs that goes directly to his home, so defense is thinking he used the skittles trick for the stamina to run back and forth. but that raises the question, what if he was just eating some candy? well patrick says he ain’t buy no skittles … but he did… so why you lying. Patrick says he went to cvs and then went to pick up takeout, but the footage of Patrick at cvs and the footage of him at the restaurant had one stark difference. He had changed his clothes. Not good enough yet? Patrick started dating a woman 4 months after the death of his children and arrest of his wife. One doctor attempted to speak out against Lindsay, but a connection was uncovered in court. Patricks new wife and this doctor are friends on facebook. They know each other. And the real nail in the coffin? Patrick sent an email at the time of the murders, placing him at home. Unless he sent it from his phone right? Well Patrick says he doesn’t remember if he was at home or not when sending the email… how odd. Theres so many things about Patrick that do not add up. He claims he couldn’t call 911 because his wifi was in and out (but 911 is the only number you can call with or without service) Patrick says when he got home he parked and called Lindsay (the phone works now huh..) to see if she was home. They asked why would he call her when he saw her vehicle? He says it was too dark to see (it was 6 o clock. and how did you see her body on the lawn if you couldn’t even see her big car in the driveway??) The police signed the arrest warrant only after hearing Patrick’s side of the story. Lindsay never confessed. Police found 3 dead children, one half dead woman, and one untouched man, and they believed him.
But wait! There’s more. We do a deep dive into lindsay’s search history. She has things searched like “how to commit suicide?” “how to deactivate airbags in a kia” “where’s the carotid arteries?” The strange part… Lindsay didn’t search it. These things were searched on Lindsay’s computer, from PATRICKS GMAIL. Lindsay (at the time of these google searches) WASNT EVEN HOME. Additionally if she was.. what nurse doesn’t know where a carotid artery is?
