**Just released:**

\- Tech Tree gone! The Tech Tree got some skeptical feedback (thank you e.g. u/Small-Water-476 ) so I ripped it out. Tech is now a simplified global level per industry (same industries as Economy), plus a dedicated AI track. Hopefully this grows the core game mechanics rather than creating a sprawling distraction.
\- Breakthroughs are probabilistic and grow more likely with time: chance = research invested so far / escalating cost of the next level
\- Private-sector baseline research runs on every track even with no faction sponsor
\- You can sabotage AI spends that budget as a drain on the shared AI track, or accelerate it...this lets you bring the end of game closer or further away
\- Each tech discovery nudges up the speed of private-sector tech research
\- Politics: you can now change the Democracy Index level of a country you control (just for you u/Small-Water-476)
\- Economy tab: you can improve any industry, even if it's not in your quadrant (also a Yama request)
\- Economy tab: each industry now sits clearly in one compass quadrant, no more overlappers
\- Fixed a few sources of lag

**Next Up:**

\- Heavily Requested
\- Rework the actual Faction options (unpopular: cryptocapitalist, too specific: christian democrats)
\- Balance
\- Make less easy for dominant faction
  \- More auto-enact behaviors
\- Let AI players user auto-enact
\- Put a max cap on clout accumulation (this will fix the more outrageous landslide elections)
\- More options for generating Clout
\- Practical features
  \- Options menu
  \- Game Save

As always feedback welcome!
