Those who decided to be childfree, how old are, what made you choose it?

For background I’m an 19 year old young man and I’m thinking a lot about recently, about having or not having kids. I know I really shouldn’t be thinking about it now. However I’m very curious. Over the summer I worked at a summer camp. I came across some bad kids and good kids. And I realized I am good at paying attention and talking to kids. However some part of me is wondering what life is like without kids, especially in a romantic relationship. So people how old are you and what made you choose the childfree lifestyle?
