Aeonglass rant? Aeonglass rant

Ok, after posting a clearly irrational rant about Aeonglass, here are my thoughts with a clear mind:

ascension 8, I actually have 8 wins and only 2 losses against Aeonglass. So why do I hate that thing with such a passion?

A lot of those wins came after one or two attempts at savescumming. I've noticed that this only happens when I'm fighting him. Against the other bosses, I either win or lose while having a pretty clear idea of how the fight should have gone. If I lose against Queen or Experiment, I don't really feel the urge to retry—I can see that there wasn't much I could have done differently.

With Aeonglass, though, it's a completely different story. One line can lead to victory, while another seemingly similar line ends in defeat. It feels like I'm constantly wondering whether I made the wrong decision somewhere, which makes me want to retry until I find the "correct" line.

It could absolutely be that I'm still playing my cards badly, and sure maybe the decks are still no great, but damn, no other boss bothers me nearly as much.

does anyone else have the same problem with Aeonglass?
