Help! So many ingrown hairs

Hello! I’ve been epilating my Brazilian area for a while and somehow it doesn’t pull the hair, but instead cuts it. I go slow, exfoliate, and I’m working on not picking at ingrown hairs. Any tips? I use the braun silk 7, if that changes anything
