Lottery Machine as New Cashier

i worked my first training shift on wednesday, and my supervisor taught me how to do the basic of the lottery machine, but i'm still so confused. the customers word it so weirdly and i know nothing about lottery machines/companies (im 16). im so lost, and i was so embarrassed cuz I would page for my supervisor every single time. are there any tips for me? my manager told me that it would take a while to get used to and its ok, but im scared to mess up because i know these seniors will get rlly pissed if i mess with their money. can someone please explain what to do, specifically about encores, when they can replay the ticket, etc? i also know that sometimes you have to scan and keep the cashier receipt, but give them the customer receipt; im so lost about that too. and also sometimes you have to collect the money from the customer before giving them the ticket; what do i do when this happens?

I really want to get the hang of this, but i'm feeling so discouraged. any tips regarding lottery machines, and literally any other aspect of being a cashier will help!! PLEASE AND THANK U!!
