Everywhere I see in my college people got good relationships with their parents . Go home every week in holidays even those who stay out of Kolkata or in faraway districts of wb , those who stay out of bengal they also try to go in their home every month.

And here is me, who stays approx 2 hrs away from his college and still lives in a pg nearby college. Goes home once every 9-10 months or even year , that also bcz roommates always ask why he doesn't go home why he took hostel even while staying so nearby college.

My relationship with family is really fucked. I don't wanna go into the details but in short I got a dysfunctional family ,only father is there for giving monthly expenses. Once in 2-3 months i speak with my mother that also just hi hello, and with father just about how is college going on do you need money that's all

Man My parents doesn't know anything about my life. What i eat everyday what I study what is my career plans. And other people I see their parents video call them every single day , atleast their mothers call everyday ask them how their day was. And everyday I have to lie or give excuse to people of my college why I don't go home and that my parents call or care about me

I guess I'm the unluckiest child . On top of that I'm a single child !

I study in a tier 3 college in wb . Ik not everyone has the potential or intellect to be in IIT or a govt college

Many people in college doesn't have a big friend circle

But atleast they have a functional and supportive family

But I guess every parent who gave birth to their kid should atleast care about them .

And I Really hope nobody goes through this pain in their life

Does everyone out there got happy and functional families?? I really wanna know
