Fooled into Love

I’m currently reading {Among Clouds and Bones by Ella Fields} and am hooked on the idea of angst filled, fooled into unrequited love after her time with Vane.

I have no complaints about genre, however am on a romantasy kick involving faes, and don’t mind how it ends. Maybe it’s purely a I want you, I need you, but I’ll never love you kind of angst. Despite the fact he cares in some level, at the end of the day she was used for his selfish goals.

Maybe they end up happily together. Maybe they don’t. I haven’t thought much on the end goal, just the vibes of fooled into love with a disbelief of actual heartbreak.
