My Dad would have been 75 today if it wasn't for colon cancer

Personal Story

I post about my Dad every year on his birthday, telling people to get a colonoscopy because it would have saved his life if he had started getting them early. It was in his family history, and he still didn't get one.

It's been almost 13 years since he passed away, and in that time I've had 2 people tell me my posts got them to get a colonoscopy, which led to them saving their own lives. I'm not bullshitting.

The worst part about getting one is the salt drink. That's over in a minute. After that, you shit your brains out, which honestly is one of the best parts 🕺

As for the procedure, you get knocked out for like 20 min, and after, they let you know if you have polyps or not.

If it's in your family history, you will get it. But if they catch it early, you're golden. Just research it.

My Dad would have been 75 today, and he was the best. Even people who are the absolute best can get taken out by bad things.
