Third time being ghosted after scheduling a phone interview
I'm trying not to cry haha. It's been over a year since I graduated and I still haven't found full-time work lol!! I work as a part-time afterschool teacher (did not go to school for anything education-related btw) and was hoping this summer I could find a new job so I could quit but I guess that's not happening. This time the ghosting was for an extremely part-time social media job for a local business. They actually classified it as an internship, and I've already done two while an undergraduate, but I applied anyway because I need SOMETHING and entry level is DEAD.
I'm just so sad. I feel so useless and untalented. It's hard enough being a graphic design graduate in this AI hellscape where you now need the skillset of an entire creative team just to maybe get one job with underwhelming pay...if they haven't delegated it to AI to make slop for free. It's one thing to send 100 applications a day and never hear back but it's another to schedule an interview just to get ghosted. :(
I'd like to think I'm close to something since I redid my resume/portfolio and started getting more interview offers but tf does getting an interview matter if they can't even be bothered to call me. Sigh. I just want to WORK and I know I'm not the most talented or experienced person but I just want someone to give me the chance to learn :(
