I need help with ISA accounts and knowing what to do next.
I have three questions I really need help with and I would be SO thankful to anyone who could help me out.
For reference, I have my savings split in two accounts. A HTB ISA and a regular savings.
My three questions:
-
I currently have a HYB ISA but with the £200 cap per month I’m not really getting anywhere or will get too far when the scheme closes in 2029. Is it worth moving this into a lifetime ISA or keeping the HTB?
-
If I did open a lifetime ISA, would it be worth moving all money into the one account rather than splitting between 2? I want to make sure I have an emergency fund easily accessible without being penalised for taking money out.
-
If I did open a lifetime ISA and transfer my HTB into it, and it’s best to keep my two savings accounts separate, am I also able to open an easy access cash ISA for the other half of my savings? Or is this against most T and C’s?
If anyone could help me out even in the slightest, I’d appreciate it so much!
