Welcome to r/Aptimetry — know why, know what’s next
Hi, and welcome to the official Aptimetry community.
We built Aptimetry around a simple observation: knowing whether an answer is right isn’t enough. Real improvement comes from understanding why every other choice is wrong—and knowing what to practice next.
That idea shapes the entire app:
- 13,000+ original Digital SAT Reading & Writing questions
- An explanation for every answer choice, not just the correct one
- Adaptive practice that responds to your developing skills
- Timed modules for realistic practice
- A learning map that makes strengths and gaps easier to see
- Optional on-device tutoring on supported iPhones and iPads with Apple Intelligence enabled
The technology matters, but only when it produces a better learning experience. Aptimetry’s tutor runs on the device, while the verified answer explanations remain the source of truth. The goal is to provide another way through the reasoning without sending study conversations to a remote AI service.
This community is for more than product announcements. It’s a place to:
- Ask Digital SAT Reading & Writing questions
- Discuss study strategies
- Suggest features and improvements
- Tell us when an explanation is confusing
- Report reproducible bugs
- Share candid feedback about what is—and isn’t—helping
We want Aptimetry to become more useful through honest conversations with the people actually using it.
