First Kill Team Game

After a few months of building my first minis i finally took my decimus KT out for a spin. I built em for my 2k army so I kinda skipped on some of the choices. I double down on hammers,stalkers and carbines.

The KT scene in my lgs is very active, its easier alot of times to schedule a game for KT than any other game mode.

So i said well I’ve been painting this guys, they are just sitting there while I keep adding to my back log. I technically have a KT lets seehow it goes.

Got in there in a kill op 1v1v1 against orks and scouts, and it was pretty fun NGL the game ended in a tie with the kommandos at 4vp the scouts got bullied most of the game.

I used a breacher, disruptor, marksman, baldemaster and sergeant. They wrecked shit up man.

The guard rule on the marksman is dope, had half the board in a chokehold.

I have an extra kill team im going to be building the operatives i dont have just to have the options honestly. I was planning to use em as extra bodies for my 2k army but honestly being able to play while working towards that 2k team helps alot with burning out. I say this because most people don’t recommend it here enough for new players.

So imma be building a shield guy, the plasma, the bombard, a headtaker, and the other head taker is getting kitbashed as a combi LT.

Tldr; if you are new and building a 2k army, play kill team meanwhile to keep ur spirits up and burn out less!!
