[FOR HIRE] YouTube Growth / Channel Management / Content Strategy | 3+ Years Experience | Remote

I’m currently looking for my next opportunity in YouTube growth, channel management, content strategy, or content operations.
I figured I’d share some context rather than just posting a list of skills.
I started working as a freelance video editor in 2021. After working with clients, I eventually started building and operating my own YouTube channels.
Over the next 3+ years, that turned into much more than editing.
I ended up handling the broader business and content side of the channels, including:
• Content and channel strategy
• Topic selection and competitor research
• Content ideation
• Titles and video packaging
• YouTube Analytics
• CTR and retention analysis
• Publishing strategy
• Monetization decisions
• Creative direction and quality control
• Managing editors, thumbnail designers and scriptwriters
• Coordinating a remote production team
• Final approval on scripts, thumbnails, edits and uploads
The channels I operated generated approximately $500K to $600K in cumulative YouTube revenue over roughly 2.5 to 3 years.
Two channels generated approximately $300K to $350K combined, and one reached 85K+ subscribers.
I don’t say that to make this sound bigger than it is.
The main reason I mention the numbers is because they give some context for the scale at which I’ve actually worked.
Most of what I learned came from having to figure things out myself.
What topic should we make?
Why did this video outperform the others?
Why did the CTR drop?
Where did retention fall?
Was the problem the idea, the packaging or the execution?
What should we change next?
That process taught me to look at YouTube as a growth system rather than simply a place to publish videos.
I’m now looking to bring that experience into a professional team.
I’m open to roles with creators, media companies, agencies, startups or other businesses that take YouTube seriously and need someone who can take ownership beyond just editing or uploading.
I’m based in India and open to remote work and international relocation.
I’m keeping the channel names private because they’re personal business assets. If there’s genuine interest in working together, I’m happy to share the channels, portfolio and relevant performance proof privately during the hiring process.
If you’re hiring for YouTube growth, channel management, content strategy or a related role, feel free to reach out.
I’d also be interested in hearing from people who have hired for these roles before. I’m always open to understanding what separates a good YouTube operator from a great one.
