Every single world ending scenario has never came true so why should I believe the AI hype

Humans are currently 0 for 1000 on world ending events such as y2k, 2012, nuclear war, WW3, killer bees, covid, climate change predictions that never came true etc… so please if we have been this wrong this many times some one explain why AI scenario is any different? More humans just being overdramatic and active imagination again I mean I’ve been hearing of a robot take over since the 80s…
