Could this be an allergy/irritation from lash extensions?

I’ll preface this by saying I’ve had really purple darkness under my eyes for as long as I can remember, way before getting lashes!

However, since I started getting them done just over a year ago, the darkness is worse and I’ve noticed that I have more puffy undereye bags now than I used to. My undereye puffiness is noticeably worse than before I started getting them done. A few hours after I get lashes done, the bottom half of my eyeball gets red and feels really dry (this goes away after a couple of days.)

My upper eyelids are always absolutely fine-no swelling, no redness, no itching.

Could I be allergic/getting irritated from the lash glue? I thought that if it was the glue, my upper eyelids would be affected, but they’re not.

Could I be having an issue with the undereye pads?

Or maybe it’s just that I’m getting older, so undereye darkness and bags are just gonna get worse anyway!
