Need advice for giving my kitten her meds.

Today will be my kittens first day of FIP treatment. I already rlly struggle to give her her antibiotics. she runs and scratches and doesnt open her mouth (i eventually am always able to give her it) any tips or advice on how to make this easier? She also needs to fast 2 hours before taking the fip meds and 30 mins after so i cant use food as a means to make it easier.
