Insane that barely anyone is playing this...

Before I start explaining the hybrid strat I wanna cover the basics for new players / those that don't play TF (skip this block if u know his builds):
**Doesn't building AD render his abilities useless?**
No, all his abilities have hybrid scaling. Yes the AP scaling is higher, but in an Auto Attack focused build u don't rely on abilities for damage and the W stun's duration stays the same regardless of what u build.
**How is On-Hit TF even playable?**
Because of his E passive. Each attack (On-Hit) generates a stack and at 3 stacks his next attack deals bonus magic damage. So you stack AS for more stacks and procs to dish out hella magic damage through E (which also gives u AS scaling with level)
**How is Crit TF even playable?**
Because of TF's normal passive and W. P first: For every kill (champs AND minions), u generate 1-6 Gold (random), but u also have a chance equal to ur critical strike chance to generate an additional 1-6 Gold (also random), so theoretically u could get 12 bonus gold per minion. Now to W: It has a crit chance scaling, depending on the card u get, u would deal up to 57.5%, 35% or 25% more magic damage with it, so you attack less than On-Hit but get more gold and have ur W hit harder.

# ARAM Mayhem enables TF to merge these two builds!

Outside of Mayhem, both Crit and On-Hit TF are not as good as full AP TF.
Crit items in general rn are meh, build lacks sustained damage and my biggest problem with Crit is that you don't have any good %pen item. Both LDR and Mortal give you only %armor pen while even with this build, all your abilities and E passive attacks still all deal magic damage.
On-Hit meanwhile is very expensive and you don't get the double gold from crit. Plus TF is usually mid, laning against a squishy enemy that can 1-shot u, with AP build u can poke/burst em and retreat on repeat. But with On-Hit u don't have any poke/burst need to be out there and in range to AA a lot, stacking up ur E, Kraken, Rageblade, Terminus etc, and will probably die before ramping up.

**But in Mayhem you easily get to 75%-100% crit chance even with only 1 or 2 crit items!**
There are soooo many Augments giving you 25% crit chance + some effect (one of em straight up just gives u 50%), so I never struggle reaching 75-100% with 1-2 items, u don't have to ALWAYS get 100% ASAP, 75% also is fine. Plus you still can get bunch of normal 8% crit anvils or if ur lucky hit the 25% one. Speaking of anvils...

**You will have so many fucking anvils!**
I like to rush Statikk Shiv since it gives ALL the stats TF can work with, the On-Hit synergy and most importantly ofc the wave-clear. With Shiv, Q and Red Card u should be able to reliably hoard 80+ % of the CS on the map (RIP Nasus), but in this hybrid-build u also get the benefit of cashing in twice on ur minions, so you most likely will be the first with full build and swim in anvils afterwards.

# The Hybrid Build:

*A lil heads up first, I have the weird habit of never really building boots, so I also always get to 6 items. Keep that in mind and adjust the build if u always play with boots.*

**First item:** Statikk Shiv. All the stats you want and waveclear ensuring high gold income.
**Second and third items:** Your (probably) two Crit items. One can be whatever u want, I mostly go Runaan's to apply all the On-Hit effects to 3 people at once. Some like Collector, YunTal and Stormrazor also are decent - just NEVER go RFC with this build pls. Second will be IE obviously, **also I highly recommend that u first of all just buy 2 crit cloaks** after finishing Statikk Shiv, that's 30% crit chance (+ ideally an Augment or two by now) so u can start gambling ASAP to snowball a gold lead.
**Fourth item:** Your "main" On-Hit item, aka either Kraken Slayer into squishies or BORK into tanks.
**Fifth item:** Rageblade. Again, all the stats u need + it amplifies ALL your other On-Hit effects.
**Final item:** Terminus, duh. LOVE this item here, finally both armor and magic pen in one.

It's up to you to decide whether to go Rageblade first or Terminus. Sometimes getting pen early can be helpful, but the downside of Terminus is that you need to painfully stack it up every fight before it being useful, early on u often don't have enough AS to do it fast and I personally feel like it shows its full potential with a stacked Rageblade, so I build Terminus after.

**TLDR** \- u get pretty much 100% Crit Chance with 2 items (sometimes with even only 1) and therefore also hella gambling-gold.
Additionally u get a shit ton of attack speed and item effects from the On-Hit items.
You will be dealing ca 50/50 AD AP damage, often more magic damage since abilities get amped by Crit and E passive also procs magic damage - AND UR NOT STUCK WITH LDR :D

Edit:
Obviously also **max E first**. Q or W second is up to u, for damage W but only if u mostly use blue card - if u mostly use W for yellow card then max Q second since the yellow card damage is low.

"AD" Twisted Fate (Crit-OnHit-Hybrid) in Mayham is so insanely good and fun
