Therapist being judgmental?

Advice Wanted

I have an amazing therapist that basically saved my life. I love her but she's not the type to be just sitting there waiting for you to come to conclusions. She provokes you with questions and make you understand your role into things while (most of the time) being compassionate when it's clearly not your fault.

That being said, she is very very feminist, and although it's not that I am not too but circumstances in my life (moving to different country and not having working permit for a while and having kids with a man that traveled all the time) made me become what nowadays os called a "trad wife".

Needless to say, "trad wifey" got screwed when "hubs" (insert sarcasm) got far in his career and yada yada yada she never developed a career and became dependent on alimony and child support.

I have been looking for a job ( and have been doing things like tutoring, house sitting etc) but my resume has a hole of almost 2 decades, so the job I wish I could have it's not gonna happen (I am college educated).

It's weird because although I understand it was a big mistake to not develop and maintain a career and trust a man blindly like I did, I absolutely loved being "just a mom" and am unapologetic about it. Got it. Lesson learned. I'm not one of those TikTok crazies that say do not study and go live in a farm and raise 12 kids.

So here is the issue: although it's already agreed that I made a mistake, my therapist keeps bringing it up my absence of career and trad wife choice over and over again:

"How nice your friend kept on working, you should have done it too", " being as smart as you are you should have known better than staying home"... etc etc.

Then, today I was talking about my daughter and she said : "make sure she knows she must work so she doesn't end up like you".

Did she cross the line here? I didn't say anything at the time but I was wondering if I should say something. And then what am I supposed to say? I guess she is pretty convinced (just like I am) that it was a mistake not working but should I just tell her to stop saying that?
