When to decorate and crumb coat?

I have a three tier white cake I need to crumb coat and decorate for a Saturday morning party. It is currently in the freezer in plastic wrap, foil and in baggies. Should I take it out today to crumb coat then put in the fridge or do that tomorrow AM?
