Anyone wait till kids were grown?

So, my guy and I have been together six years and living apart has been the best choice for us. Met when my two were 5 and 7 and his were 8 & 10. He’s got 50%, I’m 100%. We do blended vacations and stuff but like raising our kids independently.
His boys are 15 & 17 and we’re realizing it might finally be close to time to live together. He’d have to live with me and my daughters ofc, which honestly I’m just not sure about. He’s incredible and would die for them, it’s just… easier to rock our little power trio, I guess. But i do love him and we want to share a bed every night.
Anyone else wait this long? Was your intimacy increased or decreased? I think I’m worried we might not be as happy if we’re ALWAYS together.
