How do you guys feel about the name Dave for the crying child

So, I know a lot of people don’t like the name Dave for a variety of reasons and I just wanted to hear yours and if you believe a different name makes more sense.

To me Dave has always made sense it fixed the reason why people didn’t like Evan. (Evan was gotten using answers from BV but only the first three letters and then used the tally marks for the last letter which is why people didn’t like it.)

To me Dave felt satisfying it used two clues within the logbook that we before weren’t able to figure out. Michael writing part of the alphabet in the foxy grid and the books repeated use of reflection, reflecting, and mirrors.

I don’t even think the whole Dave and David thing has to be some big connection. Honestly, I see the more likely scenario being that Scott decided to use the name David because no one had ever gotten Dave as the name for Crying Child no reason not to use a good name since the character it was meant for never got revealed and then not long after people got Dave and fueled by the fact that it was a name Scott would use solidified it as his name.

Anyways that’s just my thoughts what about yours?
