had to prevent myself from spending money on hobbies so now i have a todo app that rewards me hobby money

it's simple really. you create actions and when you complete them they give you money that you can spend on your pricey hobbies (in my case, retro games and vinyl).

this money is your own money of course.

it has the following features, based loosely on the Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology:

- actions have a context (i.e. computer, calls, errands, etc.)

- actions can have a location

- actions have an estimated time to complete

- actions can have deadlines

- actions can be tied to projects

- actions can be recurring (i.e. once a week)

- actions can block other actions

- filter by context, location, time required to complete, project

- based on your settings (hourly rate and optional on-time deadline) you get money for completing actions

it is completely free atm, basically just trying to gauge whether i am insane and this only works for my brain or if other people actually find it useful (and are also terrified of unleashing their credit cards on their expensive hobbies).

if you really want to be cool you can install the PWA so you can launch from your home screen or desktop.
