We don't like our newborn with many cramps

Advice Request

Hi dads,

Our daughter is 2 weeks old. She has a lot of issues with stomach cramps. Up to 6 to 8 hours a day screaming. Only advice we get are generic: try bycicle kicks (dont work), hold her on her stomach (nope), burp well, keep warm etc. Nothing works or alleviates them. Just constant screaming from 8pm to 2am. My wife and I are exhausted. We were looking forward to the baby so much and we always felt like having a family was both our goal in life. Now we feel like we made a huge mistake. We used to want 3 kids, now even 1 feels too much. Today we saw a doctor. Our Western-European country has good healthcare. The advice? Just wait it out, it can take up to 3 months and there will be a peak at 6 weeks. A peak?! Even more than these hours?!

Anyone here have any advice? My wife and I just came to the sad conclusion that we are exhausted, that we don't love or even like our child and that we made the biggest mistake of our lives.
