The itch: I have blueprints saved that I can't actually place yet because I don't have the resources yet. I wanted a way to just look at them: see what's inside, spot what I'm missing, or preview someone else's blueprint from the internet without booting the game

**Step 1: the core (screenshot 1):** parse the blueprint file and render it with simple primitives. Boxes for buildings, slabs for foundations, tubes for belts and pipes. It looks rough, but this is the hard part: getting every part placed at the right position, rotation and floor. That's one of my own blueprints as the test case (my modular frame factory)

**Step 2: real assets (screenshot 2):** progressively swap my placeholder boxes for the game's actual meshes. It's mid-migration in the shot: yellow blocks are still my stand-ins, the detailed cluster in the middle is real geometry. 769 parts in the scene, 65 already rendered from game meshes

**Step 3 — ??? :** maybe editing blueprints directly in the browser. Not sure yet, and I'm open to ideas

What would you actually want out of a tool like this? A parts/resources list ("here's what this blueprint costs you")? A shareable link so people can post a rotatable preview instead of a screenshot? Something else?

Just to be clear, I'm a fan, not a business. This will never be a paid product, and once it's good enough I'll put up a free public demo for everyone
