6 days post op, coronectomy site foul taste?

So my bottom row was impacted and I had to get a coronectomy for them. It's been 6 days now and I noticed how much saliva builds up and this foul taste in my mouth. Specifically on one area. I'm unsure if the sutures broke too fast because the other side seems fine compared to the other. Should I check in with the doctor?
