Question about Lune and Raa

So I just finished my reread of DA and LB and I had a question.
What if Lysander chose to trust Atlas? Like to the extent Kalindora said he should.
It’s repeated multiple times in both books how much Atlas loved Lysander’s mother and father so what if Lysander actually leaned into that? Of course we know everything that happened near the climax of LB and Atlas’s real plans. But what do you think would have happened if, right after the events of Dark Age, Lysander tried to trust and confide in Atlas?
Do you think Atlas would have tried to bring Lysander into the fold of his plans sooner or would he have just used him as a pawn like he did in the book anyway?
