Hyperacusis from car or just a coincidence?

Not sure if it is a coincidence but I have been having similar issues after getting my mini cooper s , it’s not an EV, all gas. Found it odd. The first couple of days I drove it, I was fine, just the past two days I’ve been noticing this dull pain in the ears and sharp sensitivity to certain sounds, which feels like an ear infection symptom, but I’m sure it’s not. I’ve dealt with hyperacusis symptoms before, due to an incident, but it got better and I didn’t have it for 7-8 months and then all of a sudden it shows up now?? Not as severe but I’m still upset about it and just unsure what triggered it. The turbo charged engine sound, cabin pressure, something else..?? It’s a little different than what I used to drive, basic old Honda civic, which I didn’t have issues with. I just hope it’s a coincidence and not the trigger. I love my mini and I’m not sure what to do if that’s the case. I thought EVs would be better but seems like it’s not according to your post. Not a fan of them anyway, but like you just don’t know what to do and would like some insights pls.
