Am I likely to get an offer?

Post-interview

Hi guys,

I recently interviewed for a role in NYC (I am one of 30 applicants) that I was super excited about as it’s in my same line of work but more in a direction that I’m trying to pivot to (I’m in commercial appraisal and this job was for residential, which I actually started my career in.) I interviewed on Tuesday and absolutely hit it off with the hiring manager. The interview went about 15 minutes overtime, and right after the call ended, the job posting was removed. I sent the hiring manager a short email thanking him for his time and reiterating interest in the role, and he responded saying that while he thoroughly enjoyed our conversation, he’d feel guilty for me to move if volume was slow and he was worried about how I’d make ends meet in NYC, which was his main point of hesitation. I responded and said I understood his concern, but I already have a plan in place financially and logistically to move to NYC, and this company perfectly aligns with where I want to be long term. He responded immediately and said he appreciated my response and needed a few days to discuss internally and think it over. A few hours after that was sent, the CEO viewed my LinkedIn profile. I know these are mostly positive signs, but I was wondering if any recruiters had a better read on this as I am currently awaiting a response and I’m pretty nervous. Any advice welcome!
