Dealing With Insurance

Hey all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I have been battling with a new insurance and all the copay issues for a while now, and I just burst into tear getting off the phone with the 11th rep and 15th hour in the past month trying to get this resolved.

My medication is for a chronic illness (obvi) and like. I am already bitter about having developed it, because childhood experiences kind of kicked it over the edge of manageable. Now I’m disabled forever, and have to fight to get the insurance I pay for to pay for medication I HATE taking.

I have to take it. I don’t want to take it. It feels like fate is power-sanding salt into this wound. I didn’t think I would start crying. I’m mad about that too.
