Toshi Sling 5L V2 in the Winter?

Hey all,

I've been loving my Rework Toshi 5L V2 Sling, but I am concerned if this sling will fare well from winter elements like salt, snow, etc... I mostly frequent suburban and urban places.

Does anyone have any experience with using this sling in colder climates or would I be wise to look into an X-Pac or more weather resistant option come wintertime?
