I got fed up with digital signage software prices etc so I built my own CMS and it’s free

Hi everyone I’ve been working on this for a while now and thought I’d share it here. My Digital Signage CMS is called Lumify. I originally started building it because I wanted a signage system that was simple to set up but still had the stuff you’d need for an actual deployment rather than just looping a few images on a TV.

It’s got an Android player and a browser player, remote screen management, scheduling, playlists, menu boards, multi-zone layouts, video walls and more

You can sign up and use for free. No card needed or anything like that.

I’m not going to pretend I’ve invented digital signage, there’s obviously loads of CMS platforms already out there. I’m mainly interested in getting some people who actually use this stuff to try it and tell me what I’ve got wrong.

If you use digital signage day to day I’d be interested to know what you think, especially anything that’s annoying/confusing or something you think is missing.

I’m the developer so happy to answer any technical questions as well and looking for honest feedback please thanks and take care.
