Murakami discussion

Does anyone LOVE the white Murakami, but they won’t buy it because they’re nervous about staining it? For backstory: I had a vintage Murakami judy in white and, somehow, I remember it getting a black stain on the canvas that wouldn’t come off no matter what I tried. I ended up eventually selling the bag as the mark began to spread (I believe it was a pen mark).
I know our bags are supposed to be loved and worn, but I also would rather my $2000+ bag not have stains on it after a little bit of use, you know what I mean? It happened to me in the past and it was probably the worst staining in history LOL.
Anyone else relate? I stick to the black Murakami now but gosh, I do love the white.
