26F, Brahmin, Created dating profile only to get praised and hear dirty on my pic

So I (26F) a orthodox brahmin family, I made a profile on few dating apps today with my pic with face and I have zero intention of actually meeting anyone. I just... really needed to hear that I'm hot? Is that weird?

I've been feeling super invisible lately and I guess I wanted strangers to tell me I'm pretty and send me thirsty messages. And tbh... it worked? The notifications hit different when you know someone is actively looking at your photos and thinking dirty thoughts about you.

I haven't swiped on anyone. I just uploaded my best pics, wrote something flirty, and now I check my phone when I'm feeling down. The "you're gorgeous" and "I can't stop looking at your [redacted]" messages are like little dopamine hits.

I feel a little guilty because I know some of these guys actually want to meet someone... but also I'm not leading anyone on specifically? I'm just... existing and collecting compliments.

Anyone else done this or am I just a terrible person? 😅
