Masters level postgraduate who enjoys writing. What kinds of roles involve a lot of writing?

Employment / Workplace Advice

I'm a pre-licensed mental health counselor. I really enjoy assessment, so for my practicum, internship, and postgraduate hours, I have worked with/under clinical psychologists who do a lot of assessment. But I need to start thinking about building skills for the kind of work I can actually do independently when I'm licensed.

One of the things I enjoy about assessment is the opportunity to do a lot of writing. I really like to write, I enjoy clinical writing in particular, and I'm good at it.

Do you know of any types of roles or jobs open to a masters-level person that involve relatively more writing? I did look into becoming a psychometrist; I don't know if pay rates for that role vary by state, but where I live it seems to pay slightly above minimum wage, way below the reimbursement rate for treatment.

Getting a doctorate is unfortunately out of the question for me. So far I've worked with kids in outpatient clinical settings, but I'm flexible on all of that.

I would be grateful for any ideas of directions to explore!
