Career change

Currently transitioning into a producer role for a boutique firm, HNW personal/commercial NJ/NY/PA/MA - I’ll be the first one into a new territory for the firm but overall looking for some feedback from people within the industry.

Base 75k with a 5k signing bonus. Expected new revenue is 50k working the first 12 months.
Comps
- 50% on new business
- 30% renewals

No book of business coming with me so I’m building it from scratch through my network.

Any tips on starting out? If you could do it over how would you start? Appreciate it!
