Pancommunicationism?

I originally asked this question to a commenter in another forum but I figure here would also be a great fit:

"What do you think of Pancommunicationism?

"Pancommunicationism is the philosophical view that communication or information exchange is fundamental to reality, occurring at every level of existence.

In its strongest form: everything is part of an interconnected network of information exchange, interaction, and mutual influence."

I suppose "Cosmosemiotics" would be the counter-part to this."
