Need guidance for Norway Schengen visa.

Hi everyone i am indian citizen currently living in Portugal with temporary residence parmit my son age 3 years have portugal passport and my daughter is 9 years old have indian passport, i am planning for Norway tourism Visa for my daughter because me and my son don't require visa, so my question is, is it to get my daughter visa from Mumbai, i am planning for 10 days trip with both children as my wife is currently busy in her work she is not joining us in this trip , i have 5000 euro in my Portugese bank account and have another 4.5 lakh rs in india as FD, what is chance of getting my daughter visa from. Please guide me, in cover letter i clearly mentioned after trip i will bring both children to Mumbai again unite with their mother and travel back to Portugal and continue my work, what else should I write in cover letter. Please guide me.
