Piper and Quinn part 2
“Fleas?” Piper’s eyes widened in panic. She could feel them now. Crawling and biting and darting across her skin. She shivered in disgust.
As Quinn examined her back, the itches quelled by her nails returned with a vengeance. Piper grit her teeth as more itches cropped up across her body, either new bites or paranoia.
“Hey, it could be worse. At least in your human form they can’t actively live on you. But that could mean they could’ve taken a ride on your clothes from the trip back.”
“Shit, Quinn. I’m so sor-”
Quinn stopped her with a hand on the back of her shoulder.
“You have no need to apologize. This was out of your control. All we can do now is treat your bites and wash your clothes.” Quinn sat up, helping her friend to do the same.
“Now eat your food before it gets cold.”
“Yes ma’am,” Piper chuckled, leaning back against the couch.
There wasn’t much Piper could do other than sleep, which was good because Quinn had to run a couple of errands, promising she’d come home with calamine lotion ASAP.
Quinn was taking longer than she’d hoped and Piper tried to distract herself in her waking moments, but her mind always returned to the same thing.
It was a relief that she wasn’t actively infested with fleas, but that didn’t make her back itch any less. Come to think of it, so were her legs. Once she had become aware of her plight earlier, more bites began to make themselves known. Her skin was burning, begging for her attention, and all Piper could do was softly rub against the couch. The movement did nothing but tickle the itch. She hissed through her teeth.
She thought about what she could do once she regained her strength. Her mind returned to thoughts of rubbing up against the doorframe. She bet the pasta spoon lying in their kitchen drawer would feel amazing. She’d shove it down the neck of her shirt and go to town on her back, scratching and scraping and digging into her itchy itchy bites until it was warm and tingly with pleasure. The pleasant kind of tingles–not the awful ones she was feeling now. The painful pulsing kind of tingles that built and built, demanding increasingly louder to be scratched.
Piper shuddered, sitting up straight.
After sitting unnaturally still for what felt like either 3 minutes or 2 hours, her attention was brought to the slam of the front door.
“I’m back! Sorry, I thought I’d be out for an hour tops,” Quinn’s voice grew louder as she entered the den. “How have you been holding up?”
Piper pounced on her.
“Quinn. Quinn. This is too much for me.” Piper’s eyes were wild. She needed to scratch. Couldn’t wait for calamine lotion to sink in. She felt like she’d explode if she didn’t do something about this now.
“Scratch my back. Please,” she added.
“But–”
“I know, I know, it won’t do me any good but it will! It will, because I’m so. Fucking. Itchy, Quinn. I’m going to burst. You can strap me down or whatever and slather me in calamine after but I cannot TAKE this. Please.”
She let out an involuntary whimper.
Quinn frowned. On one hand, she knew scratching would not do her any good. But then again, Piper must have been suffering all day, and that look in her eyes told her it couldn’t get any worse. And the desperate almost maddening look in her eyes, her shivering—she couldn’t imagine the discomfort she must be in.
“Lie down and take off your shirt.”
Piper ripped off her shirt immediately then collapsed onto the couch. Quinn undid the bra clasp for her and scratched her friend with what she thought was a reasonable (maybe even a little too deep) amount of pressure.
Yet that wasn’t enough for Piper, who weakly tried to press up into her nails.
“Harder,” her muffled voice demanded against the cushions.
In response, Quinn dug deeper her nails into Piper’s back, who let out a groan.
The bites gave her an idea of where to start. Clusters of bites dotted Piper’s spine and Quinn lovingly gave them each the attention they deserved, raking deeply against them until her friend howled in pleasure.
“Fuuuck~just like that! Just like that!”
Quinn left no inch of skin untouched as her nails tore across her roommate’s back. Surely, Piper would have been satisfied by now, evident by her panting and breathy cut-off moans, but she needed to be sure.
In long strokes, she moved her nails to Piper’s sides and starting from the top of her back, scratched down in rows from each side to the center, her nails meeting to zigzag deeply across her shoulders down to her lower back.
Piper was in heaven. The itching shiver that blanketed her back was being scraped off with every stroke of her roommate’s nails. Her body and mind were starting to feel numb and she was sure she was about to pass out any minute.
Sure enough, she did. And Quinn took the opportunity to slather her roommate in calamine lotion. With Piper’s clothes disinfected and the calamine lotion working its magic, the fleas’ damage would be a thing of the past.
Or so the women thought.
