RegaLabs releases Kurdish Sorani Zero-Shot Voice Cloning with CozyVoice
We’re releasing CozyVoice-Kurdish, a Kurdish Sorani voice model developed by RegaLabs for zero-shot voice cloning.
With only a short reference audio sample, the model can generate new Kurdish Sorani speech while preserving the characteristics of the reference voice.
The current release has primarily been tested with male Sorani voices. Female voices have not yet been properly evaluated, so performance there is still unknown.
The release includes:
- Model weights
- Source code
- Training details
- Dataset information
- Demo samples
- Documentation
- License and usage terms
The model and code are available through RegaLabs on Hugging Face and GitHub.
Our goal is to make more Kurdish-language AI resources publicly available and give developers, researchers, students, and the wider Kurdish community a foundation to build on.
We would really appreciate feedback from Sorani speakers who test it.
Please use voice cloning responsibly and only with appropriate consent.
