I'm genuinely curious: what's the point of paying UGC creators based on views?
Because at some point, aren't we just paying for vanity metrics?
10k views ≠ 10k potential customers.
100k views ≠ 100k signups.
And going viral doesn't magically mean people will convert.
I keep seeing SaaS apps neglect their own social media while spending money on UGC creators and influencers.
And I'm like… 😭
If you haven't built your own audience or figured out how to consistently attract people to your product, how is paying someone else for temporary exposure supposed to work long-term?
Yes, UGC can get you exposure. Yes, it can help with creative testing and awareness.
But is the exposure actually guaranteed to turn into customers?
Maybe there's a benefit I'm missing here because I genuinely don't get why some brands treat UGC like it's automatically better than building their own social presence.
