SC clearance advice/concern

I've recently sent all my certs/CV to an agency and they are putting me forward for a job that requires SC clearance. From what I've read it needs spent convictions declared. I crashed a car at 16 2009 and smashed a window 2013 (got charged with breaking and entering with attempt to steal). Both were alcohol fuelled and since then I've tried insanely hard to work hard and worked my way from apprentice to foreman at my work. I've since cut down alcohol and only drink at weddings, holidays etc.

My question is do you think these will stop me from getting clearance if I'm honest and describe how much I've changed?

I don't want a huge opportunity to pass me due to my past mistakes at a young age 10+ years ago fuelled on alcohol.
